Wow! What a trip.....installment #1

We just got back this week from a 7 day trip to Southern California. It was great fun, but I was glad to leave the heat and humidity behind and get home to the more temperate climate of Western Washington!

On the plane and ready for take off--very early in the morning!

Days 1 & 2 we spent at Disney Land. Once we got the lay of the land, nothing could stop us. We just plain had a blast!

Ummm....Toto (I mean, Dad, Austen, Sam and Andrew) I don't think we are in Washington anymore!

First ride: Astro Blasters

Everyone get in your teacup--(this ride was closed for repairs when I was last there 33 years ago and I can still recall my disappointment)

Mom at Build a Bear--I made one for myself and dressed it as Tinker Bell and made another for my daughter Sarah and dressed it as Cinderella.
Come on, Mom, you can totally do Soaring Over California!
Part of the fantastic show call Fantasmic--so good in fact that we watched it two nights in a row!
Yes folks, it is a Small World after all........
And yes, although it is a bit blurry, here is the pictoral proof that I was able to convince my 21, 15 and 11 year old boys to go on this ride with me, along with my dear husband. Of course, earlier in the day, I caved and rode Space Mountain 2 times so they kind of owed me!!!A full moon over the matterhorn

Exhausted and ready to go back to our hotel!

Next stop--Universal Studios.......

Looking at your photos was so much fun. I can only imagine that it was a hundred times better being there for real.
