Giving Thanks

Leah from South Breeze Farm is hosting a Thankful Challenge, to take place of course during November, the Thankful Month. This is what she had to say:

Yesterday, I started jotting down some Christmas gift ideas because, you know, one can never start too early. But I don't want to rush through "The Thankful Month" and miss so many opportunities to thank the Lord for all He's given me. Before I start adding to my wish list, I need to work on developing a more thankful heart for the things I already have.

So, in honor of the month of November which boasts a most wonderful holiday, I'd like to encourage all of you to join me in a month-long CHALLENGE. All you have to do is post one thing you're thankful for each day somewhere on your blog. It doesn't even have to be an actual thought-out post. Just start making a list on your sidebar - somewhere you can see it every day to encourage an attitude of thankfulness.

I hope you'll join me! Grab the button, post it on your sidebar to let all your friends know you're joining in, and encourage your own readers to begin as well - to develop a more thankful heart.

It doesn't matter if you start now or mid-month. It's never too late to acknowledge God's love for you and His faithfulness to you!

Leave your name and blog address in the Mr. Linky below and I'll swing by your place every day to see how your list is growing!

So, since I can always use a good reminder to be thankful and focus on the positive, I will be joining in. My list will be in my sidebar under the Thankful button.. How about you???

Thanks for being a part of the month-long challenge, Kim! I think it'll be good for all of us to be more mindful of what we're thankful for. Looks like you're off to a good start - love those warm comforters! =)

Happy November!

Kim, I'm going to do this too. Thanks for passing the idea along. About books: There's a sequel to Mrs. Mike called The Search for Joyful. I haven't read it, but I have both books on my TBR pile! I've read a few of Adriana Trigiani's, but not the ones you mentioned. I will have to try them, because I loved her other stuff. Especially Lucia, Lucia? I think it's called.

Hope you're having a good day:)
