I have been having fun blog crawling and looking at different book challenges today. I have already joined the In Their Shoes challenge, which will help me dig into all the memoirs that I have collected around here at home. I am planning on reading one of those a month and my list can be found in my sidebar. I have now found this new one, the To Be Read challenge which challenges us to pick 12 books which have been languishing on our shelves, dressers, nightstands, the floor.....or wherever books tend to gather in a house for over 6 months. One of the 12 needs to be read a month and if for some reason one month none of those 12 look appealing, you can pick from your list of predetermined 12 alternates. Well, if you have followed my blog at all you will know that there is no lack of books piling up here! So here I go, getting ready for this challenge too! I usually read at least 4 or 5 books a month, so having to read 2 books a month to satisfy challenge requirements shouldn't restrict my reading choices too much!

Here is my list (which can't be changed after December 31st!)

1. Jim the Boy by Tony Earley--completed
2. Losing Julia by Jonathan Hull

This sounds like a great challenge. I have a lot of books languishing on my shelves, waiting to be read. I was all ready to get serious about this one, then I saw the part about "can't be changed after 12/31". Ugh. I don't like challenges that don't let me changes things up :(

Hope you enjoy reading these! I can't wait to hear what you think about a lot of these!
