What's Cooking?

I can not believe how fast last week flew by and here it is time to plan the eating again! Last week we did pretty well sticking to the plan--one of my goals is to be better about sticking to the plan and eating out less! Here is the plan for this week:

Chicken Salad, Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce
Tuesday:
Prosciutto Pasta Toss, Bread Sticks, Salad
Wednesday:
Church Dinner for my men, (ww weigh in for me and Subway afterwards)
Thursday:
Cincinnati Chili, Salad, Red Lobster Biscuits
Friday:
Sesame Chicken Stir Fry with Rice, Asian Salad (maybe take out egg rolls)More delicious menu ideas can be found at Laura's Place!

That all looks so good, Kim! Is the sesame chicken recipe online somewhere? I love and adore that stuff :)

I SO wish I could post my menu this week. Unfortunately, we're having major computer issues here. A few days ago (Thursday), my laptop died. After a long phone call, it was determined that I'd have to MAIL it in to a service center. The blooming box hasn't even come yet, so I'll probably be without a computer for 3-4 weeks. THEN, Friday morning, our website server (for our website, Hambones, which has all of my old photos, my recipes, MY BLOG and the blogs of my sisters) died. A horrible death. We're having to buy parts and try to start over from scratch. It's going to be a long process and may be down another week or so. So --- no menu plan or blogging or posting photos or asking QOTD or anything for me. I'm in withdrawal, can you tell?!

On the bright side, I hope to catch up on my blog reading and also read a book or two :)

Hope you guys have a great week! Take care :)

Hello,
Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. :) I have now enjoyed some time poking around on your wonderful blog home.

Mashers are mashed potatoes. LOL That was just how they were known at my house when I was a kid and it has stuck. :)

The chicken and provolone recipe is made up. :) I coat the chicken with ranch dressing, brown it up in a pan, and at the end, top with some mushrooms and a slice of provolone to keep the shrooms on there. The ranch dressing locks moisture in to the chicken and I stole the idea from a restaurant that cooks in front of you. Saw them do it, asked them why (looked gross but tasted good!) and there ya go. Makes a great sandwich too although I will have mine without a bun this week.

The PoBoys sandwich is a new recipe from a new crock book that so far has proven to be a fantastic book of recipes. I will email you the recipe tomorrow.

Have a great week!

I guess I'm not doing a menu this week either! Was hoping our blogs would be back up Monday but I see Stacy has said it might be longer...oh well, maybe next week!
