Blue and Gray

We visited our son up at college in Bellingham Washington today. I snapped this blue boat bobbing along on the blue/gray water. About 10 minutes later it began to pour buckets of rain as we hurried along the boardwalk back to our car!

Hi Kim, that picture is great. The boat looks so inviting to just relax and enjoy the peace of the ocean.....on a sunny day though!
Happy Blue Monday

That is a really good shot. I think it would look amazing framed....especially for someone who loves the water. Have a great week.

I wonder what that boat was doing just floating by itself. Happy Blue Monday!

Lovely and relaxing seeing a boat just waiting on the water like this! A great invitation to hop on board and just sail away!

The picture is great - what a lovely place. It's good that you got a photo before the rain. I have always wanted to visit Washington. Happy Blue Monday.

I feel sorry of the person in that boat when it started raining! Doesn't look like there is any shelter. It's a pretty shade of blue.

That is a GREAT picture. You really got a good shot and I like how the blue of the boat stands out against the gray of the sky and the navy of the ocean water.
Excellent!
Enjoy your day!

That water is really blue gray, must be reflecting the storm sky.
Great shot.

I've been to Seattle once, and visited a friend in Anacortes while there. It was my only trip to WA so far, but I would love to return.

I'm not a boat person, but my husband loves them, so I go along for the ride. Hope the remainder of your vacation was sunny. Happy Blue Monday.

I love the peacefulness of the picture. Especially so since we know it was pouring rain just after that. Like they say "Calm before the storm".
