Seeing Blue

Yes it is Monday, AGAIN! Where does the time go? I don't know. But I do know that the Christmas count down tickers I am seeing on some blogs are about to give me a stroke!

Blue Monday is hosted each week by Smiling Sally and you can either join in the fun or just go browse some creative "blue" by clicking on the link.

My blue picture this week is of a pretty little cup and saucer from my collection. I don't know where I got this one, but I sure do love it. My mom used to collect these, back when I was a little girl, but she stopped at a certain point because she just had too many and nowhere big enough to display them all. She and her friend who also collected them called them "friendship cups" I know a couple of years ago she gave me a couple so I am guessing she gave this one to me. It is bone china, made in England. I have it sitting on a vintage little tea towel I purchased ages ago at a thrift shop, also in done in blue.
Enjoy!

Hi Kim! What a great teacup I love the circular lines in it. I don't think I've ever seen one quite like this! Love the little embroidered cloth it's on too. Have a good week...

The pattern and colors go great with your blog coloring. Did you plan that? ;)

Beautiful cup & saucer! Mom collects all things pink... and teapots, although she has so many now she isn't really trying to add to her collection! Amazing how collections seem to take on a life of their own.
