still kicking!

Hi folks--
Guess what? I did not drop off the face of the Earth although it might appear that I had.

Since I last posted, the weekend of Easter...

**I spent 1.5 weeks sick with bronchitis and some kind of asthma

** Kerry and both Austen and Sam were sick over and over again with sinus infections and bronchitis. They all needed 2 rounds of antibiotics.

** Because of said bronchitis, I did not get to have my cardiac ablation and have an appointment tomorrow morning to begin the process of scheduling that all over again.

** We took our weekend trip to Eastern Washington where Austen competed at the state level with his saxophone. He took 5th in state and we are so proud of him.

** As mentioned in post before this one, baseball season has begun for both boys. The end of the school year is quickly approaching although how THIS can be I have no idea. So,between baseball games we will be fitting in some end of the year school concerts too.

** I missed 2 days of work last week due to some wacky stomach bug.

** I joined facebook and apparently I am the last person ever to join--this according to my daughter. Even her husband's Grandmother is on facebook. Who knew?

** Work is crazy busy and I come home exhausted. We are refinancing the house and we spent all weekend sprucing the old homestead up a bit as we have our inspection on Tuesday. After gardening for 2 hours this afternoon, I am stiff and sore--sitting on the ground does not work for this old body anymore!

That is me in a nutshell. I am still a reading maniac and update my book blog quite often, so if you don't find me here, you can always check that one. The link is at the top of my sidebar.

I hope to visit some of you guys this week and get caught up on you!

Wow! You win! We've been busy, but without the sickness. I think you deserve a month in Tahiti. I love your book blog, btw. Your new blog designs are beautiful!

We finished soccer on Saturday and start softball for Em today. Luke has been playing baseball since March and continuing. Time to pull out the lawn chairs and sunflower seeds!

That bronchitis is no fun! I got that a month or so back and then had a reaction to one of the meds.
No you're not the last person on fb, but it does suck me in too much most days.
I love your pretty background!
