Feast!

It's time for feasting again!

Appetizer:

Name a sound you like to hear
....
I love it when I hear my boys practicing their instruments. Sam plays the clarinet and Austen plays the saxophone.

Sound I miss? That of my married daughter practicing and teaching piano. Here she is over at our house playing Christmas carols for us to sing along to on Christmas Eve.

Soup:
What is your favorite kind of cheese...

My favorite kind of cheese is mozzarella. I love how it melts and gets stringy. I could probably eat it everyday on something!

Salad:
Do you sleep late on Saturday mornings? Why or why not?...
I sure try to! I am such a night owl and so not a morning person. Now that my kids are older I don't feel the need to be up just because they are. They can get their own breakfast and chill until I get up to get the day started. Because I now work, I really relish those Saturday's when I can lay in bed and doze. We have music lessons every Saturday, so I need to be up and ready to go by 10:30. Generally the day just begins to fly after that.

Main Course:
When was the last time you forgot something? What was it and how long did it take you to remember it?...
I forgot to lock the file cabinets at work. I am the closing person downstairs in the area where all the charts are kept. I got busy straightening up...it was a couple of weeks ago. I was 1/2 way home (I have a 10 minute commute) but really didn't want to turn around. My best friend is a speech therapist in the same office and she was working upstairs later than me. I called her on her cell and she locked them up for me! Before that, I had forgotten my sons' orthodontist appointments. Realized THAT the next day when they called me to reschedule.

Dessert:
Fill in the blank: I notice_____________when_____________.
I notice I get really irritable when other drivers cut me off! Definitely don't do well in heavy traffic around here.

Hi Kim, Just popping in to say hi and I enjoy your blog. It's nice to read about a mom with similar age boys. Your daughter is beautiful. I have a girl, too, my youngest, but I feel so blessed to have a daughter to share things with.

Nice feast!

That's wonderful that all your kids play an instrument!
I'm with you on the traffic...yuck...people are getting crazier and crazier on the roads!

Worst drivers: Sacramento. Believe it or not. Worse than LA or SF. They cut each other off routinely. Arrrgggggghhhh . . .

My feast is posted, too. Stop by if you have a chance!
