I have not had a menu plan since May! I must confess that our grocery budget has proven that fact--oh my have food prices gone up around here! Part of the reason for no plan is that we have had so many baseball games each week--most of them starting at 6:00--I don't even get off work until 6:00, so my wonderful husband has been grilling hot dogs and hamburgers for the boys between the time he gets home from work and the time to head off to the games. Sadly, several evenings the boys have just had cereal before leaving for the games, and then of course we must stop through the drive-thru after the game on the way home! My budget is screaming, "Ouch!"
This week I am trying to remedy that by cooking the night before and doing crock-pot stuff. We have 2 games tomorrow night--one at 6 and one at 8, and then just one on Wednesday.
Friday...4th of July!
We are going to a BBQ at a friend's house on a lake. Later in the evening, we are coming home and making homemade ice-cream with some other friends and letting the boys light off a few fireworks.
We are bring our own meat to the BBQ and I am also making a Macaroni Salad.
Thanks to Laura for hosting mpm each week. Hop on over and look at lots yummy recipes.

Oh, I so get the ball games! My daughter plays travel softball (with practice) and then she and one brother play little league, which has been going on since practices started in March. We're almost done! We had cereal for dinner Saturday night, so don't feel bad because you sure made me feel better, and I even posted about it in my Menu Plan Monday post. I'm glad there's someone out there I can relate to!
Your Bow Tie Chicken Salad looks yummy...I think I'm going to have to put that on a future menu.
Your menu looks great!
Our busy time is hockey season (which seems to never end!) and I don't cook as much as I'd like or should due to that and work.
Have a super week!

Your menu looks great! I still make a menu out most every week, but I just haven't been posting them. I find it makes my planning and grocery shopping SO much easier!
I've got a roast recipe that uses a packet of Au Jus (but no bell peppers, I don't eat them, can ya believe it?!) and it makes a great french dip for sandwiches. Hope yours turns out great! :)
I've not been posting my menus either, but I haven't been as good about making them either! I need to get back into that routine.
