Giving Thanks

What am I thankful for?
Well, this week it is surely my nice snug little house. We have had two very wet, nasty, windy rain storms come through one right after the other. It was so nice to sit here with my book or sit watching t.v. with my boys, while listening to the rain pounding on the skylights. I am also thankful that our roof is holding on so far again this winter. We have known it needs to be replaced for about 4 years, but we keep just doing maintenence on it, hoping each year it will make it through another winter. We just don't have the money for a whole new roof right now

Visit Rhondi for more reasons people are thankful!

Hi Kim
A good roof over your head is something to be thankful for. We need a new roof and keep on repairing it too because we can't afford a new one. I'm glad you wanted to join in and I'll add your blog to my list for Thankful Thursday. Are you planning on posting every Thursday?
Hugs, Rhondi

What a lovely blog you have Kim.
We just had our roof replaced a few weeks ago :-)
Wet, cold and rainy here today too ... I agree, nothing nicer than being inside listening to the rain.

Hi Kim, I hope your roof holds up too. That is something to really be thankful for in these hard times. I hope things will be more positive in the coming year with new leadership. If only we an trust all the changes that have been promised.

Hugs...Jeanne

We were watching the news last night and they showed some footage of flooding in the Seattle area. It was terrible! I hope you're high on a hill out there!

Hi, Kim! I found you from Rhondi's thread, and I couldn't agree more. There is nothing like a snug house in a storm. That is a real blessing.

I have a new blog and wanted to participate today, but I think the ship has already sailed. Never the less, I put up a thankful post and left Rhondi a little note about it. I didn't know how to do a linky. I had enjoyed other blogs so much that I finally decided to jump in the pool, too! It's been daunting, but so far, so good.

Thanks for this post. Enjoyed visiting.

XO,

Sheila
