I wrote a couple of weeks ago about how I just could not get "into" any of the books I was attempting to read, so I broke down and purchased Home to Holly Springs, by Jan Karon, rather than wait until Christmas to receive it from my husband. It was a wonderful book--it was like coming home, reading this author that I had enjoyed for years previously. while reading her Mitford books. This book was just as good and shed so much light on Father Tim and why he was the person he was. It was a book I could hardly put down, each chapter kept me wanting to turn the page and begin the next. I don't know how many Father Tim novels she is planning, but I hope many more!
